When you ask for a quote - through the quote calculator, the contact form, email, text or a phone call - we collect the details you give us, which are usually your name, address, phone number and email address, along with details about the work you need. Email is required so we can confirm receipt of the request, respond accurately and maintain a reliable contact record if you become a customer.
Quote requests sent through the website form are processed by FormSubmit, a third-party form service that forwards your message to our email inbox. Your details pass through FormSubmit only to reach us; we don't use them to build marketing lists. You can read FormSubmit's own privacy information at formsubmit.co. Where you upload property photographs, those images are used only to assess the requested work and prepare or confirm a quotation.
If you become a customer, we keep the details needed to run your cleaning round - including your name, address, phone number, email address, visit history, service notes and payment records - in CleanerPlanner. We use it to schedule visits, send reminders and administer your account. Access is limited to authorised RS Window Cleaners staff.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use this website - for example, which pages are popular - so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) that help count visits and sessions.
These analytics cookies are only set if you press "Accept" on our cookie banner. If you decline, or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer. Google's own information is available in the Google Privacy Policy.
Aside from analytics, we store one small item in your browser to remember your cookie choice so we don't keep asking. That isn't used for tracking.
After analytics consent, we also record non-identifying website events such as quote-button clicks, telephone or email link clicks, service selections, window-price calculations, photo additions and confirmed website-form enquiries. Names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses and message contents are not sent to Google Analytics.
We don't sell your data or share it for marketing. The only third parties involved are the service providers named above (FormSubmit for form delivery, CleanerPlanner for customer records, and Google Analytics for website statistics), each handling data only for those specific purposes.
You have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. To make a request, email info@rswindowcleaners.co.uk and we'll respond as soon as we can. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
